Marvel Sets Deadpool & Wolverine Release Date for Disney+ Next Month

Marvel has announced that Deadpool & Wolverine will be hitting Disney+ on November 12.

After hitting theaters on July 26 and hitting DVD and Blu-ray last week, Marvel has revealed a November 12 release date for Deadpool & Wolverine’s online debut.

The Disney+ version of the film comes with a bonus feature typically reserved for physical releases, with director Shawn Levy and star Ryan Reynolds providing a director’s commentary for fans to hear alongside the main Deadpool & Wolverine trailer.

Celebrating the announcement in typically bizarre fashion, Marvel is revamping the bathrooms at a handful of sports stadiums across the United States. Toilets, bathroom mirrors, and hand towel dispensers will be covered in Deadpool and Wolverine branding in a promotional move for Disney+ history.

Fans can enjoy upgrades at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for the Detroit Pistons vs. Philadelphia 76ers game today, October 30. The FedEX Forum in Memphis will get the same treatment for the Brooklyn Nets vs. Memphis Grizzlies game, along with Nationwide Arena in Columbus for the New York Islanders vs. Columbus Blue Jackets game.

Those attending the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for tomorrow’s St. Louis Blues vs. Philadelphia Flyers game can also experience Deadpool & Wolverine-themed bathrooms.

Deadpool & Wolverine was a huge success for Marvel. The film attracted characters from outside the worlds of the two eponymous heroes, and the film crossed the $1 billion mark at the global box office in its third weekend. In our 7/10 IGN review, we said: “Deadpool & Wolverine is a great comedy filled with the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s hilarious sense of humor, and unsurprising plot and pacing issues.”
